Improve memory and accelerate learning with spaced repetition

We all hate memorizing dry facts but it is usually unavoidable. We need to learn new vocabulary, syntax of programming language we are learning or dates some policy was implemented. Memorizing them, especially when were are not deeply invested in them is anything but fun, or worse — unproductive.

It is however absolutely necessary to invest some time upfront in memorizing them. Learning basic syntax will accelerate the rate at which you can write code. Learning new vocabulary will come handy the next time you write a paper to impress or advisor or Reviewer #2.

You don’t necessarily need to suffer while memorizing them. Using a scientifically proven technique named Spaced Repetition, we can memorize faster with less effort.
